| Unlike other
manufacturers which use an indexing motor instead of a servo
motor to drive the large turntable, Lamin still uses high
quality servo motors. Using an indexing motor reduces the
initial cost of building the machine but is less precise and
requires adjustments that are not needed with a servo motor.
Lamin's offset printer uses the Yokogawa Japan servo motor.
This highly precise motor alows for the highest quality printing
possible.
The two screen printing stations are also controlled
by servo motors, eliminating the need to manually adjust the
screens during setup. Lamin uses more servo motors then the
other Taiwanese manufacturers because in the long run they
provide lower operating costs. Servo motors also provide much
more precision then manually adjusting the screen frames. |
